Field Trips, Football and Farming

October is here, and it's a busy time in the Stockment house! Both kids kicked off the month with their fall field trips and I was blessed to get to attend them both! It was back to back good times!! Colton's trip was up first -- Frontier 3rd grade trip to Camp Tecumseh to learn to live like pioneers! There were several stations set up, and the kids went in groups from station to station learning about furs and trapping, to Pioneer cooking, to candle making to an old one room school house. They got to fish using nothing but fishing line & a tree branch and got to saw & build with life size Lincoln logs. Colton really enjoyed it, and I really enjoyed watching him interact with his classmates that day. Of course, in Colton's book...the only thing that can top a day out of school, is getting to spend a great late afternoon/evening farming with Grandpa.  So that's just waht we did. Wedding #1

We kicked off the month of October in a fun, albiet a bit wet, way! Uncle Jacob & Aunt Makayla got married! If I do say so myself, they had a pretty handsome ring bearer. Makayla was beautiful and Jacob looked pretty dapper!  We'll let the pictures tell the story of this picture perfect day! :) The good news is that Keat was surrounded by wonderful influences on the day of Uncle Jacob's wedding...I'm sure he picked up ZERO bad habits....
