Our Aweful Beautiful Life

Life has been extremely nuts lately. Remember back in June, when I hated my job because there was so much crap going on. It was like conference on top of conference...I think I've gone back in time, because the last three weeks (ending this coming Tuesday) have just been outrageous. But, I'm not going to focus on work -- afterall, what fun would that be. Let's focus on the other fun things going on in my life right now. A bullet point list if you will... Colton is crawling. I know I've mentioned this before, but holy crap -- the kid can get around. It's like I'm constantly chasing him, keeping him out of things that might hurt him, or simply, within eyesight of wherever I am working/hanging out. Jason's big thing lately has been to get Colton out of bed when we do in the morning, which is all great and good for him, because he can play a little, then hand him over to me, and run out the door. Well, my little boy is growing up so fast. Remember how I told you it's like he knows he has legs now, and he's figured out how to use them...check this out. We got this activity table for him last night. I'm pretty sure it's going to be a quality investment. What is this thing?? Checkin' it out... Cool Mom...totally cool! That's all....just some fun for the day. It's so great to watch him learn new things...maybe he'll be smart...wouldn't that be awesome? We'll count on God to pull through on that one...we know it's not coming from either of his parents! :) HA Almost Friday...

Did we go back to June and I somehow missed it? It's now September 10th, and I've got three weeks of back to back conferences, and so far, they've all been a headache. It's crazy. So crazy in fact, that I've not blogged for a long time!!! What the heck, have I actually been working?? Today...I'm making time to blog. Enough is enough. Labor Day weekend came and went, and was fairly uneventful. We had a dinner date with Ryan & Steph on Friday (fun times, of course, Felix missed his Uncle Butch). Saturday brought cleaning & a cookout at Biehl's. Sunday was a busy one -- church, visit with Gram, family get together with Robinson's, then home to shoot clay pigeons and pig out on pizza with Seth, Jenna & Silas. It was a fun day...but tiring.
