Party Animals

It's finally Friday. Thank goodness. It's been a long/crazy week. The weekend doesn't hold much hope for slowing down, but we've been lucky to have some fun this week too. We had a great time on Wednesday night at Blair & Mario's. It's so nice to catch up with people you don't get to see very often. The boys tried their skills at Guitar Hero, and I'm pretty confident that the only one who could truly brag about his skills was Mario...and it was his game, so he's had the most practice!! Myself, I got booed off the stage, I didn't even get to finish my song!! It was a fun night, just too bad we all had to get up and go to work the next day. I'm totally excited for tomorrow. It's our first big Hall gathering in a long time, that isn't centered around a holiday. And, for the most part...everyone will be there, with the exception of "out of state-rs". This is pretty monumental considering Jeff & Jenna...

Baby #1

Happy Tuesday. I thought I'd take some time to bring you all up to date, because some of you we don't see very often, and well, a lots going on it our life! First things first, I'm almost 20 weeks pregnant, which marks the 1/2 way point in this journey. No, we don't have names picked out yet, but we're working on it. And yes, we're going to keep the sex a secret...even to us! It's funny, knowing that when we were born, our parents did have a choice but to be surprised and these days, people gawk at you if you don't know ahead of time. We're old fashioned I guess, we both want the surprise.  I've felt great, and have been blessed to not have any morning sickness. I actually just popped out about a week, week and a half ago...I'd been slowly getting bigger, but now I actually look pregnant, not just chunky. Although, my dad and Jason have both let the comment, "wow, you're getting chunky" accidentally slide out of t...

Xanga Blog

Well, I'm new to this blog thing, but thought I'd give it a shot. I've read a few others, and have enjoyed following people's journeys. Jason and I are up for a new journey. We'll become parents in January. We're pretty excited. We just became aunt/uncle in June, so we're getting some practice with Meredith, but of course, I'm sure we'll have a lot to learn on our own this winter!   So, watch this site I guess, I'll try to update it as often as possible. Maybe post some pictures of my growing belly, and tell of our adventures as we get moved out to the farm and back into the country. Did I mention I couldn't be happier about that? I'm a farm girl, through and through, and living in town just wasn't doing it for me. I'll hopefully get better at this, as time goes on, just be patient, I'm not technologically nor web advanced! Have a great day!
