Monday, 03 December 2007 Well, on the busiest weekend we've had here lately, we chose to move in. But we did it. Friday night we had the Maxwell Wedding Rehearsal, Saturday we had the Maxwell Wedding, Sunday we went to church, Jason to the house, me to Mom & Dad's to pack up our stuff, and then the whirlwind began. I took a Vous full of boxes, luggage, crap to the house, and Mom followed close behind with the rest of the stuff. Well, I should say more stuff...because we've already exchanged a few emails this morning with a list of things we've forgot there! Dropped that off, left at 1:15pm for my first baby shower, did that at 2:15-4:30....the Hall side, VERY fun, and so many neat things. Now I'm really getting excited. It's all becoming more and more real! (8 weeks to baby by the way). It was great to be with family all afternoon, and it really meant a lot to me to have Gram Hall there. Friday, 30 November 2007 Well, not technically the end...because well, there's still a list of things to fix up here and there...but almost the end! Carpets in, and looks great. Vinyl gets replaced next Wednesday morning (in the back bathroom/laundry room where they screwed up), laminate floor is down, water heater is in, and with only a little bit of electrical work left we're just about there. Oh, and did I mention...WE GOT OUR STUFF BACK!!!  No more storage unit, no more bare house -- we have our couch, our decorations, MY SHOES!!!!...after all, we did only pack the bare minimums to take to mom and dad's for that 2 weeks we were going to need to stay with them. But, we'll be moved in just shy of 3 months...and that's not too shabby. Tuesday, 27 November 2007 We've almost made it -- and I'm sure Jason couldn't be happier. It's like he's been running a marathon for the past 2 1/2 months, and he can finally see the finish line. Me, I'm just the person who signs up for the marathon, only to walk more than I run. Go figure...but I ran a few miles...just not the full race. I'm super proud of Jason for the work he's done, and the effort he's put into things. Our house looks like a brand new place, and we are both so excited to be able to enjoy it. Carpet comes today...should be going in anytime, which is great -- that means all the floors are done. We've got only the laundry room and back bathroom to trim, and then touch up paint, etc, before we move in. How exciting. Move in will likely take place later this week/weekend. I don't think things could have wrapped up at any more of a busy time...we've got Seth & Jenna's wedding this weekend, and Sunday...

 The past 48 hours has been interesting. To say the least. The happy news...Murphy got a haircut. For the first time in, oh, 2 1/2 months. LONG overdue. A before and after picture. This is before...you can't even see his eyes! This is after...Jason always hates the bandanas... I ran errands all day Tuesday, and was quite proud of myself for picking out a toilet, wash tub, and mirrors for the bathroom all on my own! (I've never bought a toilet before...so this was quite the feat!!) I met Jason at the house after work, and they were going to go to town on putting together the laminate floor. So, I left to go home and help Mom stain the boards some more. I called Jason about 8:30 to see how they were getting along, and all I heard was "well, this laminate is junk...I've got a ton of help, and junk for product. It's going back". And he hung up. Great. Oh yeah, and since I can't be doing anything but sitting here at the computer tonight -- I've made one killer supper, fried hamburgers, mashed taters & gravy and green bean casserole...not at all healthy, please note...but I had time on my hands. I did happen to sneak a few pictures of my view of the staining going on in the garage... Me peering in...ignore the flash... Me being scolded for being in the garage...for the good picture I'll post next...do you see Dad getting ready to break his phone conversation to tell me to "get out of there!" The ladies staining...making good progress!  I thought it was cute how they worked at the same pace to stay across from each other as they stained...

    Well, it's official. I've been shunned from working on my own home rennovation. As we speak, I've been kicked out of the garage where the ladies (Mom & Jacki) are staining our trim, and here I am...left to blog because I can't do anything else. Dad's rule. And trust me....he lets me know if I'm not allowed! True, better safe than sorry, but it kills me to know that other people are doing work that I should be doing for my own home. Many would think this is a perk of being pregnant, me, I just feel like a giant pain in the butt who wants all these things done to our home, but can't do them herself. It's rather frustrating. However, on the bright side...holy cow did we have an awesome weekend. And, not to mention, a jampacked weekend -- we primed, painted, went to a wedding reception, went to Wal-Mart to prepare for opening day of shotgun season, helped coordinate a church breakfast, trimmed out the places upstairs that needed re...

I have to admit, posting this picture, makes me a bit sad. After all, you should enjoy looking like a giant balloon and being pregnant. But, when I see how big I actually am (and the camera adds WAY more than 10 lbs thank you...)it's a little bit depressing. None the less, here's baby stockment belly at 29 weeks...that's right folks, only 11 weeks until due date. And we are still living in Wolcott. We need to move...FAST! Big thanks to Jen for taking the awesome photo, and semi thanks to Jason, for being lazy, reclining in the chair for the much more hideous brown outfit photo!! At 26 weeks...with bad hair & a zitty face. Gotta love those hormones...notice Jason's feet all kicked up. And 29 weeks...notice my feet swelling out of my shoes...HA!
