Sad day folks...last night was officially the last night at 305 E Third. Quite sad if you think about the good times that have occurred in that place. It's Jason's first house, home to many good memories for him and Seth I'm sure...many of which I'm not, and probably never want to be aware of. It's where we started dating, had our first Christmas, many Apple/Popcorn Garage Sales, porch parties, Jason's surprise birthday party, and of course, it was home to many wonderful 305 E Third St. Parties -- let me tell you, if you weren't involved in one of these, it's definitely your loss. All I'll say is that after an evening of fun at a wedding...the place to go was 305 E Third. The picture proof of the Gretencord Wedding 305 E Third St. Party is enough to prove that it was a good time. Let's just say that they boys didn't keep a full fridge, but that night, they had at least 6 cases of Miller Lite and some ketchup in their belongings.
It's where we started our life together, so it's kind of sad to be leaving, but we're off to bigger and better things...that's what I keep reminding myself. After all, I'm the one who hated town, and am dying to be back in the country...and really, we can still host the after wedding parties...as long as we don't wake the baby!
In all honesty, this week has been a whirlwind. Work has been nuts. Moving out of our house in about one week has been nuts. And moving in with my parents for awhile will be nuts. But, it's only temporary, and even more motivation to hurry up and get things livable so we can get back on our own in no time. Don't get me wrong, we've got our work cut out for us in the next few weeks, but there's so much potential there, that it's exciting, not frustrating, and did I mention we'll be in the country?
Not much else new to report, although, moving out and changing our lives with a baby, new house, etc. is pretty huge news. This weekend is the Hammonds-Demerly wedding...can't wait for that. Then on Sunday, baby Meredith gets baptized...again, very exciting! Unfortunately, it'll be the first weekend we could work on the house, and it's jam-packed...but on the bright side...we have fun stuff planned, and several free weekends ahead!
Hope that everyone has a great weekend. PS...this kids a kicker! :)
